The economical UVB1 is a single-canister 3 stage undersink UV System with an “extended pass” carbon block filter. This UV system is rated at two gpm and includes an Extended Pass Carbon Block (EPCB) filter combined with the UV light.
This triple combination of mechanical filtration, carbon adsorption and ultraviolet purification is proven effective at removing:
- Dirt and Sediment,
- Organics
- Chlorine
- Tastes and odors
- Bacteria
- Cryptospondium and Giardia Lamblia Cysts.
This unit is rated for cyst removal with 0.5 Micron Pentek EPCB cartridge.
