The UVB3 is a triple-canister 5 stage undersink UV System with an “extended pass” carbon block filter. This UV system is rated at two gpm and includes an Extended Pass Carbon Block (EPCB) filter combined with the UV light in the third canister.
This combination of mechanical filtration, carbon adsorption and ultraviolet purification is proven effective at removing:
- Dirt and Sediment
- Organics
- Chlorine
- Tastes and odors
- Bacteria
- Cryptospondium and Giardia Lamblia Cysts.
The first and second filter canister add versatility to the overall system and can be used for additional prefiltration of choice prior to the UV light canister.
This unit is rated for cyst removal with 0.5 Micron Pentek EPCB cartridge.
