There are several ways to install a feed line to the Merlin System. Many home improvement and hardware stores will have suggestions and components to get the job done.

The thing to keep in mind is you need to find a method that will allow you to go from the feed water source (i.e. a flexible cold water faucet line, 1/2" ridgid copper or CPVC cold water line), to the flexible 1/2" John Guest LLDPE red poly tubing that is included with the Merlin System.

No matter the method you or your plumber choose, in all cases, we recommend following local plumbing codes and using NO LESS than 3/8" diameter (along any point), to get the job done.

This particular feed valve was designed with the Merlin in mind and is for use on 1/2" Rigid Copper, Chrome, CPVC, PEX water lines.

This Mur-lok™ R/O Pal is a good choice for an easy, reliable access valve if you have a short run of 1/2" rigid pipe under your sink.

This Feed valve can be used for the GE Merlin and other POU systems that require a 1/2" feed.

The installation adapter comes with an integrated 1/2" ball valve which allows a positive shut off for servicing the POU equipment.
